Further information | The purpose of the Addiction Recovery Centre is: To relieve the needs and preserve and protect the health of the people in East Dunbartonshire who have - or have had - a life controlling addiction to alcohol, drugs, gambling or other such addictions with a view to improving the conditions of life. To give hope and recovery to said individuals and their families to alleviate addictions in future generations. To offer support to all family members including children affected by parents or other family members suffering from addictions. To encourage individuals recovering from these conditions to reach out and encourage recovery in others. All of the above is based on the Twelve Steps principles, which are fundamental to the operation of the Addiction Recovery Centre, as is anonymity. |
